Hello and Welcome to the Graduate Program in Bioengineering at The University of Toledo! We offer both Master's and Doctoral degrees. The Master's degree provides studnets with specialized training needed to work in the bioindustry or as preparation to continue their research at the doctoral level. These students have the opportunity to work either on industrially sponsored problems, with one of the department-affiliated faculty and are clinicians, or as part of a doctoral-level research team.

In addition to an outstanding faculty, we have state of the art equipment in all of our laboratories. Our research areas include: cellular engineering, electrophysiology, medical imaging, bioinstrumentation, bioinformatics, biomechanics, and biomaterials. For more information about our graduate program, please browse our web pages. Please contact me at prelue@eng.utoledo.edu if you have questions that this site does not answer.

Thank you for your interest in our program.
